As founder and owner of Kelly Ikenberry Business Coaching, I use personalized group programs and one-on-one coaching to help people who are service-based professionals (financial and insurance advisors, consultants, coaches, resume writers, photographers, massage therapists, etc.) build better businesses while expanding their lives.
In other words, I help you get even more out of your business AND help you stay engaged with the things you love so you can maintain an identity all your own, wake up every morning excited about life, and experience the kind of success you want in business.
I learned the ropes in business by running the office at my Mom's sign shop and making regular visits to my Grandpa's CPA practice in the southeast Kansas town of Independence. It was the best place on earth for me to learn the importance of innovation, word-of-mouth marketing, and customer service. Along with this, I received my work ethic from my Dad's side of the family who still farm today. I believe this combination is lethal - in the good way.
Many moons later, I became a fundraiser for the American Heart Association, Arizona State University, and the American Cancer Society. This was the breeding ground where I fine-tuned my communications skills and saw the potential of relationship building in marketing and sales. I took these skills to the financial advising world where I learned all about the balance of making more and playing more. In 2009, I launched my own business to be more accessible to my growing family and quickly made my mark as a creative strategist, business catalyst and innovative thinker.
Three short years later, my achievements are growing: Associate Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation, President of the largest BNI chapter in Colorado Springs, a featured workshop leader for the Tri-Lakes Business Incubator, and a respected client attraction expert with a growing base of followers.
Using my signature Client Attraction Mentoring Program (CAMP)™ , A New Way to Network™, and Make More, Play More! ™ group coaching systems, my clients learn how to attract clients, implement action plans, build referral-based businesses and much more. My approach is to blend strategy, teaching, intuitive insights, and creative coaching.
Known for my creative and spirited style, I am an avid networker and people watcher. I live in Colorado Springs with my amazing husband (who happens to be a published author - excuse me while I brag!), daughter, baby-on-the-way and two constantly fighting cats.
I received my coach training from Coach U and am a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF). I earned my undergraduate degree in Communications from Washburn University in Topeka, Ks, where I also played varsity tennis for four years.
